Medical Insurance Coverage for All Students

CITECH hereby confirm and undertake to all local and international students that we have in place a medical insurance scheme for all our students.

All local and international students are required to purchase the medical insurance scheme. A Singaporean/ Permanent Resident or a non-student's pass international student who is protected by his/her own medical insurance coverage in Singapore can opt out from the medical insurance scheme provided he/she can prove that he/she has similar coverage.

This medical insurance scheme minimally provide for an annual coverage limit of S$20,000 per student, at least B2 ward in government and restructured hospitals and 24 hours coverage in Singapore and overseas throughout the course duration.

Please be informed that with effect from 21 Jan 2013, CITECH has appointed a new medical insurance service provider that is Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd to put in place the medical insurance scheme for all our students. This will take effect for all of our new intakes starting from Jan 2013.

The medical insurance fee shall be paid to CITECH designated DBS Escrow Account.
